The ESP32-PICO-V3-02 is a highly integrated System-in-Package (SiP) module from Espressif Systems, the flagship model in the ESP32-PICO series. Based on the ESP32 (ECO V3) chip, it seamlessly integrates an Xtensa® dual-core 32-bit LX6 microprocessor, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2 BR/EDR and BLE, 8MB SPI Flash, 2MB SPI PSRAM, and all critical peripheral components (crystal oscillator, filter capacitors, RF matching network) into a single QFN-48-EP (7×7mm) package. The ESP32-PICO-V3-02 simplifies complex RF design to the extreme - it requires no external components to function. With assembly and testing completed at the SiP level, the ESP32-PICO-V3-02 significantly reduces supply chain complexity and improves management efficiency. Featuring a compact size, powerful performance, and low power consumption, it is ideal for any space-constrained or battery-powered device.

Powerful Dual-Core Processor & Large Memory: The ESP32-PICO-V3-02 features an Xtensa® dual-core 32-bit LX6 microprocessor running at up to 240MHz. On-chip memory includes 448KB ROM, 520KB SRAM, and 16KB RTC SRAM. The package integrates 8MB SPI Flash and 2MB SPI PSRAM, providing ample storage and runtime memory for complex applications, AI models, and data processing.
Dual-Mode Wireless Connectivity: Supports 2.4GHz Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b/g/n) with 802.11n data rates up to 150Mbps, A-MPDU and A-MSDU frame aggregation, and 0.4μs guard interval. Supports Bluetooth v4.2 BR/EDR and BLE dual-mode standards, with Class-1, Class-2, and Class-3 transmitters, Adaptive Frequency Hopping (AFH) , and CVSD and SBC audio codecs.
QFN-48-EP (7×7mm) Ultra-Compact Package: The ESP32-PICO-V3-02 comes in a QFN-48-EP (7×7mm) package measuring just 7×7×1.11mm. It provides up to 31 programmable GPIOs, with 5 strapping pins, 4 pins connected to in-package flash/PSRAM, and 6 input-only pins. Compared to other ESP32 series chips, it adds GPIO20. Flash pins (DI, DO, /HOLD, /WP) and PSRAM pins (SI/SIOO, SO/SIO1, SIO2, SIO3) are not brought out to enhance security.
