I2C Serial Interface for Simplified Wiring: The module integrates a PCF8574 I2C adapter board, reducing the traditional 1602 LCD's 7 I/O pins to just 2 data lines (SDA, SCL). Only 4 wires (VCC, GND, SCL, SDA) are needed for connection. The default I2C address is typically 0x27, with some modules using 0x3F. The I2C device address can be modified by shorting the onboard A0/A1/A2 pads, allowing up to 8 modules to be cascaded.

16×2 Character Display with HD44780 Compatible Instruction Set: Display capacity of 16 characters × 2 lines. Each character is formed using a 5×8 dot matrix. Compatible with the standard HD44780 instruction set, supporting both 8-bit parallel and 4-bit half-parallel data transmission modes. Built-in CGROM contains 192 common characters, and CGRAM supports 8 user-defined 5×8 dot matrix characters.

Blue/Yellow-Green Dual Color Options: Available in Blue Screen (blue background, white text) and Yellow-Green Screen (yellow-green background, black text) styles.
